Location
White Sands Village is located at the corner of Midnight Pass and Beach Roads, just a short walk from award-winning Siesta Beach. There are snack bars, restrooms, tennis courts, a playground, picnic shelters and more adjacent to the beach. The beach has lifeguards on duty during the day. At certain times of the year, there are also specialty food trucks in the parking lot. A great way to spend the day! In the evening, come watch the sunset and listen to the drum circle on Sunday nights.
Siesta Key is a barrier island of Sarasota, an small arts-focused city. It takes 10-20 minutes to drive to downtown Sarasota from our condo depending on the time of day. Sarasota has many great restaurants, galleries, shops, and entertainment. The Van Wezel Performing Arts Hall has a great selection of concerts and shows throughout the year.
Adults and children will enjoy the Mote Marine Laboratory Aquarium, the Marie Selby Botanical Gardens, and Myakka State Park. A visit to The Ringling is a great way to learn more about circus history and Sarasota's most famous family, as well as view amazing works of art.
Shopping and restaurants are located just 1 mile from the condo in Siesta Key Village or in the shopping centers just south of the property near Stickney Point Bridge. Boat, kayak and paddle board rentals are also available on the island.
